'Lame duck' Treaties from Hell?

This book deserves the attention of anyone who is questioning whether our government really is of, by, and for the American People.
In Part One, "A world without democracy: America without Sovereignty", Morris discusses how the Fed took over the economy. Note that our "audit the fed" action request in the June Newsletter quotes this chapter.1
In Part Two Morris discusses "How the European Union is preempting Congress and Binding us through International treaties". One of the topics is "Agenda 21" which we reviewed in July of last year.2

Item 1 in the packet summarizes Obama's Sneaky Treaties. They might as well be treaties from hell. 4a Morris warns that these treaties "could radically limit our national sovereignty …. Particularly scary is that the treaties, once signed and ratified, have the same status as constitutional law and cannot be altered or eclipsed by Congress or state legislatures" 4
This is, in fact, the view of many of the globalists who are pushing their supranational agenda. However, we who are unwilling to cede America's sovereignty understand that Treaties Do Not Supersede the Constitution.5 Item 2 in the packet addresses this question.
The best way to avoid a constitutional crisis -- and perhaps the very dissolution of our republic -- is to demand our Senators do not pass these treaties in the first place.
In a conversation with Sean Hannity, Dick Morris agreed that such things as one-world government and world taxation are, in fact, happening. Morris believes Obama is going to sign these treaties, "binding the United States hand and foot for decades", and get them ratified by the lame duck Senate.6
For example, some wonder if the Obama administration will try to push the Small Arms Treaty in the lame duck session. The Small Arms Treaty is not the biggest UN threat to gun owners.7 It will not get the necessary 2/3 majority in the Senate. Instead, a more immediate threat is looming. Item 5 in the packet describes a real danger to our gun rights, going under the acronym of ISACS, "International Small Arms Control Standards." This would operate irrespective of the Small Arms Treaty. The strategy here is to eliminate the Second Amendment one standard at a time. 8
For another example, Sen. John Kerry has been holding hearings on the Law of the Sea Treaty - abbreviated here L.O.S.T. He had been gearing up to ratify it this summer. However, he became concerned opposition to the treaty would put vulnerable Senators' re-election at risk. Kerry recently decided to wait until after the election - that is, to sneak its ratification past the public during the lame duck session.9
Michelle Malkin is one of many conservative voices opposing the treaty. Item 3 in the packet is her article "Obama's land of the LOST". 10 She reminds us that President Reagan firmly rejected the Sea Treaty. 11 Investor's Business Daily has editorialized that the U.N. Law Of The Sea Treaty must be stopped because it would "end America's sovereignty on the high seas, limit our freedoms on land and speed up the global redistribution of wealth and power".12
The Sea Treaty opposition still needs at least seven more GOP senators to prevent ratification. 13 Item 4 in the packet is a letter from Pat Toomey's office. He expresses his concern about the treaty's impact on our national sovereignty. Senator Toomey has yet to go on record opposing the Sea Treaty.
In conclusion -
In these waning days of Obama's presidency, we must remember and act on Benjamin Franklin's warning - it is up to us to keep our constitutional republic. 14
